Re Fire
Alarms: BS5839-1: 2017 has just been released. There are some major updates and
changes to consider – our one-day modules make an ideal refresher whether that
is design, maintenance or Installation & commissioning.
Also, we
are expecting BS5306-3 : 2017 to be published at the end of this month. Please
beware of the following note re extinguisher refresher training:-
NOTE It
might not be possible to adhere precisely to a 3-year period, but this is
acceptable provided that the refresher training has been officially booked and
the course completed within 6 months of the 3-year anniversary. Failure to
follow this procedure entails completing the initial training again.
